Place an egg in a bowl of water.
If it starts to stand up, its good.
If it sinks, it’s the freshest it can be.
If it floats to the top, throw it away.

Saving Herbs

SAVING HERBS

A great way to save herbs is place them in a an ice cube tray, cover them with water, and freeze them.
When a certain herb is needed for a soup or sauce, remove ice cube with herbs inside, and add to pot.
Quick, easy, and flavorful.
