I am a single mom and a disabled veteran. Soldier On has helped me and my boys on several occasions. They helped me get new tires for my car so that I could get it inspected and it would be safe to drive my boys in, they helped me with my winter heat and electric after a hard cold winter left me with a higher bill than my budget could deal with, and when our living environment became unfit Soldier On helped us to get into an apartment. I have worked with two different people and both were professional yet very down to earth and friendly. I never felt put down or judged for needing help. I don’t know where my boys and I would be without their help and we will be forever thankful for them!”

My future wife and I had nowhere to turn and no one to help us. From our first meeting with Soldier On in the Willowbrook Mall we felt the love, care, concern, and professionalism. We thank God for your persistence in finding us a home. Thanks to Soldier On we aren’t homeless and we are back on our feet in a furnished home. Thank you guys so much, you’re the best. This program really does work.”

It was very difficult to humble myself to the fact that I had ruined my life through active drug use for seven years. I am very fortunate today and tremendously blessed to maintain my sobriety since 12/02/13. This past November I found a safe sound place to live, however I had difficulty covering all my expenses. That is when I was told about Soldier On. As reluctant that I was to ask anyone for help, my case manager calmly eased my anxiety. She was and still is very caring, genuine, and truly concerned for my well being. I have the deepest admiration and respect for her. My case manager eased my mind and assured me that should would do all she could to help me. She did that and more. My gratitude for Soldier On can never be properly expressed in a short letter of appreciation. Just know that veterans such as myself would be lost without this tremendous blessing of support.”
