Transportation Call Center
Funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Soldier On, in partnership with the Berkshire Regional Transportation Authority (BRTA) operates a Veterans and Families Transportation Call Center
Our fully-staffed Call Center features easy to access transportation assistance with toll-free number (413) 418-4300 serving veteran families whenever and wherever they are.
21,500 rides are provided annually by 15 veteran drivers, for medical and dental appointments, employment, education, shopping, and support services in the community.
The Call Center is staffed by 4 veterans, Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm
Calls are answered by a live person and monitored during off hours as well. Participants or their Case Managers can call any time to schedule trips.

Please note that transportation options may vary and may not be applicable to all. Medical appointments and emergencies take top priority. Soldier On options are free; Amtrack, Peter Pan, and the BRTA are fare based. Call Center staff will discuss suitable options for unique transportation needs with veterans or family members.
